This Week’s eBay Madness

I do believe we have our first repeat eBayer here on This Week’s eBay Madness. FreepCreep was raffling off that snazzy Gilmore Girls Season 7 iPod last week, and now we’re dipping into the ensemble. This week’s pitch:

I received this jacket as a gift from the producers of Gilmore Girls when I used to work on the show. It is a navy blue “North End” brand jacket, size large. The jacket goes down to a few inches below the waist. The outside is made of 60% wool, 20% polyester, and 20% viscose. The inside lining is made of 100% polyester. The front is zippered and there are two zippered pockets on the outside as well as one on the inside. The sleeves have buttons on the adjustable cuffs. It is an extremely warm jacket, which is “perfect” for where I live, sunny southern California. I’ve only worn this jacket a handful of times. This jacket is clean and in excellent condition, and comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.

You have to love the part about the jacket being perfect for California

I love, love, love this week’s eBay madness. So much so, let’s skip straight to the pitch:

This iPod shuffle was given to me as a Christmas gift by the producers of “Gilmore Girls” when I used to work on the show. It is a silver 2nd generation 1GB model with the words “Gilmore Girls Season 7″ engraved on the back. This iPod has hardly been used. Included are the original box and manuals. Not included are the original headphones and the original dock (my daughter chewed up the headphones, and a piece of the dock broke). I am including a different dock that functions identically to the original one.

This Week’s eBay Madness

I keep wondering if THIS is going to be the week that I find nothing odd related to Gilmore Girls on eBay, and each week I am heartened to discover that the madness shows no sign of abating. Thank you, America’s Attic!

This week, we have a set of 5 blank greeting cards featuring:

“The Walton House from the television series
The Gilmore Girls Inn from the television series
This famous house set was used for both television series.
This set of 5 note cards are blank inside and come with envelopes
These cards are on quality paper and are a beige buff color
The size of theses cards are approximately 5 1/2 inches  X 4 1/2 inches.”

I’m not quite sure which Inn this is supposed to be, but for what it’s worth, I think it’s terribly insensitive to so casually reveal to fans of both shows that the same structure was used both on The Waltons and Gilmore Girls. Oh vendors, do please leave us our illusions!
