OK, the fates will have their little jokes from time to time, I understand that. But darn it, I only just found out that Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino were both in Denver — just an hour away from your’s truly — covering the Democratic National Convention for EW.com!

The heartbreak. The tears. The disappointment. (For your’s truly; Amy and Dan seemed to have a marvelous time turning their heightened senses of humor on that political powwow.)

The names “Obama” and “Biden” form an almost perfect anagram of Osama bin Laden…
