The World According to Doyle

So here’s a dilemma for you. Let’s say your love for Gilmore Girls is rivaled only by your fond memories of, oh I don’t know, Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Now let’s say you have the good fortune to get Danny Strong on the line, who had great roles on both? Finally, let’s cap your conversation at just 30 minutes. How do you talk to the man behind both Gilmore Girls‘ Doyle and Buffy’s Jonathan in such a short period of time without having your head explode?

Yes, I know — “We should ALL have those kinds of problems, fan boy!”

Still, it was a great honor to speak with such a beloved actor about meeting the real Ben Bradlee, Krav Maga, and the delight of playing opposite both Alexis Bledel and Liza Weil.

Of course Danny’s also riding high on the Emmy-winning Recount, the HBO movie he wrote about the 2000 presidential election debacle.

Isn’t this exactly the type of movie Doyle would’ve written given the chance?
